Delta Liquid Energy helps farmers lower air pollution and reduce operating costs by replacing diesel engines with cleaner burning propane engines for water pumping. Since 2002, the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District has secured and awarded over $100 million for voluntary reductions in emissions.
Farmers have received up to 90 percent of their engine replacement costs. Propane can also cost less than diesel to run these engines. For grant assistance or more information, call Robert Jacobs at 805.239.0616.
