Paso Robles, Calif. (September 9, 2011) – Paso Robles’ new Branch Manager, Troy Mack (aka “Mack”) is congratulated with a promotion from within at local propane company Delta Liquid Energy (DLE). Mack is filling the shoes of former Branch Manager, Ted Olsen, who has been promoted to Market Manager for the company’s new propane Autogas department. Ken Sauret is assuming Mack’s previous titles as Assistant Manager.
Mack was welcomed in 2008 to the Paso Robles branch by Ted Olsen as Assistant Manager where the two worked closely as a team to expand the division. “Ted, Ken and Troy have all done great work for DLE,” says Robert Jacobs, Vice President of Retail Operations at Delta Liquid Energy. “And we are pleased to announce their promotions within the company.”
When asked about his new title as Branch Manager, Mack states he is “happy to have the opportunity to work more closely with the great employees and customer base of DLE.” He adds that “selling propane to the Paso Robles area is a special opportunity to gain incredible insights on the values and stories of each of the longtime farming families in our area.” Mack has been an employee with DLE for nineteen years.
Ken Sauret has assumed Troy Mack’s previous title of Assistant Manager of Operations. Ken plays an integral role in the propane community working as both District Sales Manager and Assistant Manager of Operations at Delta Liquid Energy’s Paso Robles branch. He says he “likes the challenge of balancing both job titles” and says “I really like working with Troy Mack, we complement each other well. I have a sales background and Mack is a service guru so we are able to take our different specialties and turn them into great changes within the department.” Ken Sauret has been an employee with DLE since 1999 and has worked in the local propane industry for 22 years.
Ted Olsen, now Market Manager of DLE’s new propane Autogas department, has a new job of satisfying the growing demand of cleaner fuel for automobiles. He explains that “DLE is currently filling three-hundred school busses with propane Autogas in the Los Angeles basin every day.” Propane fuel is the school district’s solution to abide by the more stringent air quality requirements issued by the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD). Olsen foresees more fleets both private and public switching to propane Autogas as a way to cut fuel cost and clean the environment.
“Not only is propane Autogas clean-burning,” states Olsen, “it is typically less expensive than gasoline or diesel fuels.” Olsen enjoys being a part of the growing interest for alternative fuels among the general public. He has been involved in the Autogas industry since 1982 and has worked for DLE for six years.
